Howdy
Hello, my name is Dylan. I'm a sophmore in the M&T program at Penn.
I really love coding and filmmaking, and I've been doing both since I was 10.
Here's one of my first videos:
My first real coding project was an AI note generator called ScholarAI which I grew to over 40,000 users by marketing it on TikTok.
All of my friends were asking me how I built it, so I created Nivaro to teach them how to create their own AI websites. I helped over 1,000 students, and got featured on ABC and CBS news. And I ran a pilot with Loudoun County Public Schools that culminated in 12 7th-graders creating their own React.js + GPT chatbot websites.
That got me accepted into college. And after celebrating, I realized that I didn't really know what I wanted to work on. But I knew that once I figured that out there was one thing that I would need: marketing!
So I naturally started posting tiktok videos about advice for high schoolers applying to college and what I learned over the past year.
When I started, I got 0 views and got shit from everyone. But for some reason, I stuck with it anyways, and eventually I figured it out.
I've grown to over 150M views and 100K followers across all platforms, and created videos for Microsoft and Nvidia. I also used my following to create an AI college essay tool, Kolly, which I grew to over 50k users and $7k MRR in a month.
Since getting to college, I've been focused on really pursuing my passions in both coding and content creation by building cool things that I care about and making them go viral.
One random Tuesday night, I built AI blackjack glasses and got over 1.5M impressions on LinkedIn.
I've also spent a lot of time making friends on campus. I joined the Penn Men's Club Soccer team, got involved in a bunch of clubs, and rushed.
Currently, I'm spending the summer in San Francisco working on Blueprint, and I've learned more in the past month than in the past 18 years of my life.
Looking forward, I want to continue building cool things and working on problems I care about. And maybe making more tiktok videos :)
